Summer Herb Kids Camp! (FULL!) Thursday and Friday, July 8 + 9, 9:00am - 3:00pm garden in Portland (and surrounding Portland Trails) For youth entering 6th or 7th grade in the fall A magical pair of days in our medicinal herb garden preparing delicious teas, oils, salves, and honeys and exploring local trails and forest ecology. There will be much to smell and taste! And so much to bring home! We will hold ceremony and deep acknowledgement of the plants, hear stories of current and ancestral relationship with these green Beings, and explore what it means to trust our intuition. This is intended for youngsters enamored with the plants who hold the kind of curiosity that makes their eyes shine brightly! Plant Spirit Medicine Workshop July 14 (Wednesday), 9:00am - 3:30pm A magical day in retreat as the garden reaches its summer zenith of activity! Through sensing activities we'll step into connection, awareness, curiosity, and companionship with the plants in the garden that call out to you. Accompanied by tea, meditation, writing, and journeying, we'll sense into which Plant Being we'll be developing a deeper relationship with as we move into late summer. Mystery Garden Tour July 15 (Thursday) 5:30 - 7:00pm Enjoy a beautiful high summer evening as we visit with the plants as their energy moves into the lush green joy of their almost fullness and marvel at how much the Earth has to offer! Our evening will be rich in herbal folklore, observation, laughter, and understanding of how to incorporate our new plant friends into daily Life. Wild Moon Young Women's Retreat January 15 + 16, 2022 For rising Sophomores and Juniors in high school A powerful weekend exploring our physiology, vulnerability, and intimacy with the divine feminine. We'll create medicine bundles for our personal and collective wisdom and baskets to hold our herbal medicines to ease any discomforts we may feel throughout the cycle of the Moon. We'll learn to chart our menstrual cycles, including our emotions. We'll dive deeply into the feminine connection with Grandmother Moon during this extraordinary Full Moon weekend. We meet in Portland, in a backyard garden yurt.
