Plant Spirit Medicine Introduction and Exploration April 18 (Saturday), 9:00am - 3:30pm, yurt in Portland ($85) A magical day in retreat in the early Spring gardens. Cozy up in front of the wood stove in the yurt, connecting with the plants in their seed and seedling stages. Through tea, meditation, writing, drawing, and journeying, (and possibly preparing a flower essence) we'll sense into which Plant Being we'll be developing a deeper relationship with this coming summer. Herb Walk on the Eastern Prom May 28 (Thursday), 5:30 - 6:30pm, Eastern Prom, Portland ($10) Explore the resilient new green growth and the nourishing properties that six common plants offer animals and humans! Summer Garden Magic: An Herbal Introduction (4 week series) July 8, 15, 22, 29 (Wednesdays), 6:00pm - 8:30pm ($160 adult, $120 young adults 6th through 12th grade) During the most exquisite month in the garden, and during the cool, shady part of the evening, explore the magic in the garden! We'll have an herb walk each week, and we'll taste many of the plants in tea, and learn their digestive, respiratory, and nervous system supportive actions in the body.
