A wonderful gathering together and commitment to deepening our connection with the plants.
Together we will explore: * making tinctures, oils, salves, infusions, decoctions and flower essences * tastes of the plants and actions they impart in the body * systems of the body and how to strengthen them with plant medicine * herbal formulation and plant identification * spiritual relationship with the plants through journeying and dreaming
The garden in our little backyard holds over seventy medicine plants, some indigenous to Maine and New England, some originally native to Europe. Over the course of the year, we spend time with these plants - tasting them as teas, harvesting and making medicines with them (tinctures, glycerites, honeys, oils, salves, and bundles.) We listen to the plants as we sit with them - and notice the actions present in our mouth (hot/cold/moist/dry) and observe where they land in our bodies - and if any memories or emotions become present - and then we share our noticings...
It's extraordinary, and also fun and meaningful.
There's an excellent book that comes with the class that supports our monthly explorations as we work through a different body system each month.
Our apprenticeship will hold the container for our discoveries. Welcome!
Location in Portland. The maximum number of students is twelve. Babes in arms are welcome! Students 14 years of age and older are welcome! The energy exchange for the full apprenticeship is sliding scale $1600 - $1800. A $200 deposit holds your place. This includes the book for the class and our medicine making materials. Paying above $1600 supports scholarship. Please be in touch if financial hardship is impacting your ability to join circle.
Please contact Mischa with an email of interest, describing what you hope to learn about yourself and the plants during our time together. Very much looking forward to hearing from you!

My hope is for you to complete these months with a firm belief in your intuition and relationship with the plants - particularly with those plant teachers who have shown up in your Life in unexpected ways and who have become reliable friends.
There will be approximately six to ten hours of "Home Exploration" each month - primarily relating to assessment tools practice, personal reflection, and relationship building with the plants.
The energy exchange is $1500 - $2000 for the series. We'll hold circle for six to twelve participants. Our class will be very much alive with who we each are. Please contact Mischa with your interest: [email protected]

I want you to trust yourself. A piece of this work is personal Hollow Bone work. Taking care of our own challenges is a part of supporting others. It won't be a primary focus of our time in circle together, though our circle will provide a container of safety to pursue this personal investigation outside of circle.
During our client sessions, we will be holding sacred community space for the person coming in. We will create a tea and/or tincture for them, and over the next months continue to support their care.
There will be approximately four to six hours of "Home Exploration" each week - reading, research, protocol development, assessment tools practice, personal reflection, synthesis, and DEEP CONNECTION WITH THE PLANTS.
Please contact Mischa with your interest: [email protected] As always, I look forward to hearing from you! Warmly, Mischa
