Intermediate Herbal Apprenticeship, Part 2

Explore the local flora in depth, through taste, meditation, journeying, old texts and visiting with and growing these magical beings.

Hosted in a yurt in Portland, Maine, located along the #4 bus route

The cost is $540 for the series. We'll hold circle for six to nine participants.
Our class will be very much alive with who we each are.
Please contact Mischa with your interest: wildcarrotherbs@gmail.com

Advanced Herbal Apprenticeship
Six Fridays from February - June, 2019. 9am - 5pm.
February 8, March 8, March 29, April 19, May 17, June 14
Hosted in a yurt in Portland, Maine, located along the #4 bus route

The primary focus will be on clinical skills and sitting with clients in the Apothecary.

We'll review tongue, pulse, facial assessment, clinical intake, and ethics during this time - and go into depth on the topics that are deeply important to your interest. We'll cover the herbs and material that relate to 'that which keeps you up at night.'

My hope is for you to complete these months feeling confident supporting the ins and outs of particular acute and chronic issues and that you have the clinical understanding of the physiology/pathophysiology of the issues and the plants that would be specific to the concern(s) in question, and perhaps even more so, that you trust your intuition and relationship with the plants. (It's this last piece around intuition and relationship that I've been particularly sitting with over the last year - as this is so very personal and comes, in part, with time.)

I want you to trust yourselves, and a piece of this work is personal Hollow Bone work. Taking care of our own challenges is a part of supporting others. It won't be a primary focus of our time in circle together, though I don't want this to be overlooked.

We'll have a client session at 1:30pm each afternoon, in which we will be holding sacred community space for the person coming in. We will create a tea and/or tincture for them, and over the next month between classes we'll think further about the case and individually create a protocol and tincture formulation which we'll discuss during the next class session.

There will be approximately six hours of "Home Exploration" each month - research, protocol development, assessment tools practice, and personal reflection.

The cost is $720 for the series. We'll hold circle for four to eight participants.
Our class will be very much alive with who we each are.

Please contact Mischa with your interest: wildcarrotherbs@gmail.com
As always, I look forward to hearing from you! Warmly, Mischa
