Intermediate Herbal Apprenticeship, Oct 2019 - May 2020
We'll explore tongue, pulse, facial assessment, clinical intake, and ethics during this time - and go into depth on the topics that are deeply important to your interest. We'll do our best to cover the herbs and material that relate to 'that which keeps you up at night.'
My hope is for you to complete these months with a firm belief in your intuition and relationship with the plants - particularly with those plant teachers who have shown up in your Life in unexpected ways and who have become reliable friends.
Our mornings will focus on materia medica and formulation related to our strong herbal allies, with our afternoons focusing on assessment skills development.
I want you to trust yourself. A piece of this work is personal Hollow Bone work. Taking care of our own challenges is a part of supporting others. It won't be a primary focus of our time in circle together, though our circle will provide a container of safety to pursue this personal investigation outside of circle.
There will be approximately six to ten hours of "Home Exploration" each month - research, protocol development, assessment tools practice, and personal reflection.
We will gather: Eight Wednesdays from October 2019 - May 2020. 9am - 3:30pm. October 23, November 20, December 11, January 15, February 12, March 11, April 8, May 13
Hosted in a yurt in Portland, Maine, located along the #4 bus route
The cost is $960 for the series. We'll hold circle for six to nine participants. Our class will be very much alive with who we each are. Please contact Mischa with your interest: firstname.lastname@example.org
