CranioSacral sessions

CranioSacral therapy

Distance CranioSacral therapy sessions begin with a short phone call, intended to clarify what concern(s) want(s) notice and tending. This can be of a physical or emotional nature.  When we have established what is coming forward for healing, we turn off our phones. The client is invited to find a comfortable position and to relax, day dream, or nap as the session begins, during which time the client may become aware of sensations or emotions moving in or through their system. Once the session feels complete by Mischa, she calls the client for a short post-session check in and closing. Occasionally, an action step (write a letter, cook a particular meal, engage a new skill, etc) to be taken after the session will emerge as an element for further healing, or a plant medicine will present itself for daily integration.

CranioSacral therapy is an exploration of deep relaxation and growing trust in the body's capacity to release old physical and emotional patterns. This modality invites presence and supports unwinding of tension and nonconscious beliefs held in the connective tissues.

With the use of SomatoEmotional Realization techniques and points along the energy channels of the Chinese meridian system, the body is able to express clarity, manifesting as smoothly moving hormonal pathways of the hypothalamus and pituitary glands, well-drained lymphatics along the spinal column and brain, and more ease in recognizing emotional changes.

Its capacity to transform, even through distance, remains astonishing to me.
