Herbal Apprenticeship Program

This enchanting apprenticeship will meet one weekend a month, May through November. Students get hands-on experience making tinctures, teas, salves oils, herbal sprays, and flower essences etc. and are exposed to such various herbal traditions as Chinese, Ayurveda and Western Herbalism. Each month we cover a different body system and the herbs that nourish and support it. We focus on plant identification and do medicinal plant walks each weekend.

Medicine Making Series: Come to One, or Come to All!
Last Monday of Each Month, 7:00 - 9:15pm

Each month we'll be pressing out tinctures, starting new tinctures, blending teas, or making salves. Everyone will go home with something we've made. The location is in Central Square, a five minute walk from the T station. The street address will be emailed to you when you RSVP. $25 - $15.

Summer Solstice Herb Walk

Honor the summer solstice with an outdoor rambler, and learn about the medicinal herbs that are growing right under your feet! Share herb lore and laughter, learn some new plants, and taste one or two. Meet at the entrance of 42 Brattle Street, rain or shine.
